The article is devoted to the investigation of structure and wear-resistance of plasma-sprayed coatings of TiB2– (Fe-Mo) system. Composite powders of TiB2-(Fe-13 мас.%Mo) system with 20, 40, 60 і 80 wt.% of metal phase content were obtained by powder metallurgy techniques. The developed powders are conglomerates, that contain both refractory compounds and metal phase. The plasma-sprayed coatings of TiB2-(Fe-13 мас.%Mo) system have heterogeneous structure which consists of the titanium diboride grains distributed in iron-based matrix. Wearresistance of the plasma-sprayed coatings was determined in abrasive medium and under dry sliding conditions.
