Ph.D. Thesis is devoted to the development of scientifically based principles of gas-dynamical cathode protection units of plasma torches for plasma gasification of polymeric composite materials.
Ph.D. Thesis contains the results of numerical and experimental studies. Research based on the methods of mathematical modeling, analytical and numerical methods of solving problems of mathematical physics. During the execution of numerical calculations use the certified design applications based on the finite element method, in experimental studies – a methods of scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray microa-nalysis.
The results of the thesis are introduced at the enterprise, “KHAI-Service” in the exe-cution of works on creation of equipment for plasma gasification. Established scientific and technical base, which is used for research and training at the National Aerospace Uni-versity named after N. Ye. Zhukovsky “Kharkov Aviation Institute”.
